"A Passport to Skomer"

12x16in scratchboard

Original Sold. Limited Edition Prints available.

The reference photo for this scratchboard artwork was taken at Skomer Island off the coast of Pembrokeshire, Wales. Home to
approximately 20,000 visiting Atlantic Puffins in the nesting season. Young Puffins are hardy little birds, living out the first 2-3 years of its life at sea. They return to the same birthplace, baffling scientists as to what navigation methods they use.
