"A Christmas Tweet"

A New Zealand Tui in a Pohutukawa Tree - Pastel

I decided on a composition in Photoshop, from 3 different photos from a recent photo to the Coromandel.
The Tui was actually taken in Auckland Zoo's amazing new native bird enclosure, enabling me to get very close to these beautiful birds. The Pohutukawa tree would have to be my favourite tree, very much the 'Christmas Tree' icon of New Zealand!
